Other RMMs watch. Helios fixes.
Helios is an AI-native RMM and PSA platform for IT teams and managed service
providers. Monitoring, security, patching, remote access and Microsoft 365, unified and
automated, run by Helio: an AI that investigates, fixes, and sharpens your playbooks
with every ticket. Every feature is on every plan. No credit card. Set up in minutes.
What Helios does
- AI Ops. Ask anything about your fleet in plain English and let it act. Predictive disk alerts fire days before a device fills up. Smart alert correlation spots a network outage and raises one ticket instead of twenty.
- Self-healing automation. An alert fires, a script runs, the ticket notes itself and closes on resolution. Busywork handled while you sleep.
- Built-in helpdesk. Inbound email becomes a ticket automatically. An AI Service Desk Agent triages and replies in seconds. SLA clocks start on arrival and replies thread back to the client.
- Patch management. Windows Updates and third-party app patching in one place, with compliance scoring and audit-ready history.
- Security monitoring. Native Microsoft Defender integration plus agent-level checks that flag any device missing antivirus or endpoint protection.
- Microsoft 365. Licences, MFA coverage, mailbox and OneDrive health and inactive users, monitored continuously per client.
- Remote access. One-click secure remote sessions built in. No second vendor and no extra agent.
- Client portals & QBRs. Branded portals on your own domain, plus AI-generated quarterly business reviews.
- Asset lifecycle, backup monitoring and a Fleet War Room live device grid, with passkey login, mandatory 2FA and full tenant isolation.
The Helios agent runs on Windows, Windows Server, macOS and Linux. Integrations include Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, Windows, macOS and Linux.
Helio investigations: it does not just run playbooks, it writes new ones
Predictive disk alerts and smart alert correlation catch issues early and cut the
noise. Then Helio takes over: it runs real read-only diagnostics on the device and
works out the root cause. When a vetted playbook matches, it runs that. When nothing
matches, it writes a novel fix on the spot. Once a technician approves it and it
proves out, the fix can be saved into the library for next time. Nobody has to
pre-write a fix for every possible issue, and the library grows with every device
Helio touches.
Conversational control: tell Helio what it can and cannot do
Helio does a lot on its own and you decide how much. Tell it in plain English to
stop, pause or gate anything it does automatically, and it records a standing rule
and honours it until you say otherwise. "Always ask before rebooting." "Do not
auto-fix servers." No settings to hunt through, and never a ticket to us to change
what it is allowed to do. Rules only ever restrict Helio, never widen what it may
do.
Vulnerability management, built in, with the fix attached
One admin approval connects a client's Microsoft tenant and Helios reads Microsoft's
own Defender vulnerability data: every open critical and high CVE, mapped to the exact
machines exposed, with a one-click fix that queues the app update on every affected
device through the patching pipeline. A CVE only leaves the list when the machines
stop being vulnerable. Threats, licences, MFA coverage and protection gaps ride the
same connection.
Every ticket is answered before your team opens the dashboard
Helio triages every inbound ticket and adds a visible assessment to the feed, so
technicians start from a read of the issue rather than a subject line. In auto-reply
mode the client gets a response within seconds. On a device ticket it goes further,
investigating the machine itself, applying a fix and verifying it, so the team keeps
the work that actually needs a human.
Approved means done: the platform fulfils the request itself
Give every client a menu of things they can order: new starters, leavers, password
resets, software installs, with your questions, your audience rules and a named
approver where sign-off matters. The moment a request is approved, Helios carries it
out. A leaver is blocked and signed out everywhere, the password is reset, the install
queues on the right machines, and the ticket records exactly what was done. Risky
actions only run behind a real sign-off, and anything the platform cannot finish says
so rather than pretending.
One agent, deployed in seconds
The Helios agent is lightweight and self-updating. Create your workspace and add your
first client in a couple of clicks. Each client gets a single installer for Windows,
Windows Server, macOS and Linux. Run it once, with nothing to configure, and the
device starts streaming into the platform within seconds. No on-prem server.
Already running in the real world
Helios runs our own MSP and the client estates we protect, every day. Nexborne, the
MSP behind Helios, runs its whole business on it: monitoring, tickets, security and
reporting for every client from one screen. HIS 2002 and Vitori are managed end to end
on Helios, with endpoints, Microsoft 365 and security posture monitored continuously.
Regulated clients
Care providers answer the NHS data security toolkit every year. Financial firms answer
to the FCA for the providers running their IT. Insurers ask the same questions at every
renewal, and the client turns to their MSP because you run the systems the questions
are about. Helios keeps the evidence while you work: patching, antivirus, backups,
access. When they ask, you export the answer instead of assembling it.
Why it holds up
Anyone can bolt an AI onto a dashboard. The AI is the easy part now. The hard part is
the plumbing nobody demos: an agent that runs on every Windows, Mac and Linux machine,
keeps them patched, and lets you take control when a user is stuck. Deep integrations
into Microsoft 365, Defender and backup vendors. Multi-tenant security that keeps every
client's data walled off from the next. That is years of unglamorous work, and no
amount of AI writes it for you.
Built by an operator, not a vendor
Helios was built by someone who has spent over twenty years running some of the
largest and most complex managed services operations in the world, and has operated
most of the platforms on this market along the way. They are good platforms. At that
scale you also find exactly where each one stops, and spend years working around the
limits by hand. Closing that gap properly could not be bolted onto a platform built
before AI existed, so Helios was built for it: every feature on every plan, one flat
price you can build a business around.
How Helios compares
| Capability | Helios | Typical all-in-one RMM | Legacy PSA + separate RMM |
| Pricing | Flat per-plan, every feature included | Per-technician, add-ons cost extra | Multiple contracts, often per-endpoint |
| AI | AI-native: an agent that investigates and fixes | Bolt-on AI summaries | None, or a separate add-on |
| Self-healing | End to end. Runs diagnostics, fixes, verifies | Pre-defined scripts only | Manual |
| What's included | RMM, security, M365, helpdesk, reporting | Core RMM. Security and PSA usually extra | Separate tools you integrate yourself |
| Hosting | Fully hosted, nothing to run | Hosted | Often a server you maintain |
| Remote access | Built in, no second vendor | Add-on or bundled | A separate tool |

Pricing
Every feature on every plan, priced per plan rather than per technician. A per-device
Launch tier for small fleets, then three flat plans, so four plans in all. Helios is
priced in US dollars, pounds and euros, and the site shows your local currency
automatically. Annual billing saves 20%, and the pricing table shows the annual
equivalent by default, so both figures are given below. 14-day free trial, no credit
card required.
- Launch: $5 per device per month ($25 minimum), £4 (£20 minimum), €4.50 (€22.50 minimum). 5 to 25 devices, billed monthly. The complete platform, every feature. Unlimited technician seats. Grows into Starter at 25 devices.
- Starter: $129 a month, £99, €115. Billed annually that is $105, £79, €92 a month. Up to 50 devices. The complete platform, every feature. Unlimited technician seats. Email support.
- Growth: $249 a month, £199, €229. Billed annually that is $199, £159, €185 a month. Up to 250 devices. Everything in Starter, plus a white-label client portal on your own domain and priority support.
- Scale: $499 a month, £399, €459. Billed annually that is $399, £319, €369 a month. Unlimited devices. Everything in Growth, plus dedicated support with an SLA and priority access to new features.
