Level pricing in 2026: the simplest rate card in the market
Level publishes one rate and one rule. Ten endpoints free for as long as you like, $2 an endpoint a month above that, and the invoice follows last month's peak. There is no tier table because there are no tiers. What is worth checking is what the flat rate does not include.
Written with respect. We ran an MSP on several of the products we compare, we rate them, and without them Helios would not exist. These pages are here because buyers deserve the numbers, not because we want a fight.
The short answer
- $2 per endpoint per month above the first 10, which are free with no time limit (List, level.io, checked 2 September 2026).
- Billed on the previous month's peak device count; month to month, no contract, cancel any time.
- Setup and onboarding are free; a 30-minute onboarding call with an engineer is offered.
- Level is an RMM. Ticketing, billing and the PSA side are not in the product, so they are a second tool at a second price.
The rate
| Item | Figure | GBP | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| First 10 endpoints | Free, no time limit | List | |
| Each endpoint after that, per month | $2level.io/pricing | ~£1.47 | List |
| Worked example on the page: 11 devices | $22 a month | ~£16 | List |
| 100 devices, by the page's rule | $180 a month (90 billable) | ~£132 | List |
| 500 devices, by the page's rule | $980 a month | ~£718 | List |
The billing rule matters as much as the rate. Level invoices the previous month's peak device count, so a fleet that spikes for a week pays for the spike, and one that shrinks pays less the following month with nothing to renegotiate.
What the flat rate does not cover
| Item | What we found | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Ticketing, invoicing, contracts (PSA) | Not part of Level. Buyers pair it with a separate PSA | Not published |
| Antivirus or EDR | No bundled security product is priced on the page | Not published |
| Backup | Not offered | Not published |
Against the per-technician vendors the comparison is straightforward: Level at $2 costs less than a $129 technician licence until that technician looks after 65 devices, and more after. Against per-device vendors with tiers it is usually the cheaper entry price and a less steep discount curve, because there is no curve.
Terms worth knowing
- No contract, no minimum, no setup fee.
- The free tier is permanent, not a trial, though the page also mentions a 14-day trial in one place; see below.
- US dollars only.
What we could not verify
- The page says the first 10 endpoints are free with no time limit and, elsewhere, invites you to start a 14-day trial. We could not confirm which applies to a new account after 14 days, and assume the free tier.
- Whether servers, network devices or mobile devices count as an endpoint at the same $2.
- Any volume discount above the published rate. None is shown.
Where Helios fits
Helios publishes every price: a £4/device Launch tier for 5 to 25 devices, then flat per-MSP plans at £99, £199 and £399 a month by fleet size (50 / 250 / unlimited). Every feature on every plan, monthly billing, cancel any time, and the calculator on the pricing page does the comparison for your exact fleet. We built this page because we think published pricing should be the norm in this market, ours included.
The parts that rarely make a feature grid
Comparisons and price lists tend to stop at monitoring, patching and tickets. Helios has kept shipping, every feature lands on every plan, and this is the part that usually gets left out:
- Client billing that closes the loop. Recurring contracts (flat, per-device or per-seat), an included-hours retainer that nets against logged time, and the finished invoice pushed into Xero or QuickBooks or exported as CSV.
- The kit that will never take an agent. Nominate a machine already running the agent as a site relay and act on the switches, firewalls, NAS boxes and printers around it over SSH. A target only appears if that relay is what discovered it, every command waits for a human, and the password is fetched at the moment it runs and written to the audit trail.
- Network discovery that names things. Agents map each client's network and identify what they find by vendor and type, so new hardware on a client site is flagged the day it appears.
- Replacement dates without a spreadsheet. Machines report their own age from the BIOS date, so Helios can tell you what is due for replacement against a service-life policy you set, per client.
- Reporting built for the review, not the dashboard. A custom report builder, SLA reporting, Microsoft 365 licence-cost reporting, and a day-one baseline per client that stores the numbers, so a quarterly review can prove what actually moved.
- Everything is addressable. A published REST API, a credential vault with an audit trail, custom fields on clients and devices, and standing rules that limit what Helio may do on its own: block an action or require a human to approve it, scoped to one client, a device group, a device type or a single machine, and to a class of action or one named fix.
Common questions
How much does Level cost in 2026?
$2 per endpoint per month after your first 10, which are free with no time limit. Billing is month to month on the previous month's peak device count (vendor page, checked 2 September 2026).
Is Level free?
For up to 10 endpoints, yes, permanently. From the eleventh device it is $2 per endpoint per month.
Does Level have a contract or minimum?
No. It is month to month, cancel any time, with free setup and onboarding.
Does Level include ticketing and billing?
No. Level is an RMM. The PSA side, ticketing, invoicing and contracts, is a separate product at a separate price.
How does Level compare with Helios?
This page is the price teardown and stays out of that argument. The honest side by side, including where Level is the better pick, is on Helios vs Level.
