Helios for in-house IT teams
Helios gives an in-house IT team monitoring, patching, remote access and a service desk for its own staff in one product, priced by the number of devices rather than per technician. A team looking after 50 devices pays £99 a month, whether one person runs IT or five.
Built for MSPs, and that suits an IT team
Helios started as the platform we wanted for our own MSP, so it is multi-client by design. An in-house team simply runs its own organisation as the only client. You get the same monitoring, patching, AI service desk and staff portal a fifty-client MSP gets, with nothing held back for a higher tier.
Plenty of businesses with no IT department at all run it the same way, letting Helio, the AI technician built in, do the investigating and fixing an outside provider would.
What an IT team gets
- Monitoring and alerts on every Windows, Mac and Linux machine. When something critical fires, Helio investigates it on the machine and proposes the fix.
- Patching, including third-party apps, with a record per device of what was applied and when.
- Remote access to any machine from the console.
- A service desk for your staff: tickets by email or the portal, with SLAs, so requests stop living in chat.
- Microsoft 365 and Defender checks and backup monitoring measured on the last restore point, not a relayed green tick.
- An asset register that flags machines on out-of-support operating systems and ageing hardware.
What 50 devices costs
Most RMMs sold to IT departments charge per endpoint, often with a minimum. These are the RMM prices alone, from each vendor's figures on our pricing pages.
| Product | How it is priced | 50 devices a month |
|---|---|---|
| NinjaOne | $3.75 an endpoint at 50 or fewer | $187.50 |
| SuperOps (IT plans) | From $1.50 an endpoint, 100-endpoint minimum | $150, for 100 endpoints |
| Level | $2 an endpoint, first ten free | $80 |
| Helios | By fleet size, any number of technicians, service desk included | £99 |
Below 25 devices, Helios is £4 a device on Launch, from £20 a month. Above 50, it is £199 for up to 250 devices and £399 for unlimited. Every plan has every feature, and your price is locked for as long as you stay subscribed.
The honest limit: Helios is built for keeping machines and people running. It has no change management or CMDB, so if your organisation runs ITIL processes end to end, a dedicated ITSM tool will fit better, and Helios can still run the machines underneath it.
