N-able pricing in 2026: what N-central and N-sight cost, and what renewal does to it
N-able publishes no prices for either of its RMMs. What it does publish is more useful: a Software Services Agreement that says exactly how renewal prices rise and how your device commitment grows. Here are the reported prices, and the terms from N-able's own documents.
Written with respect. We ran an MSP on several of the products we compare, we rate them, and without them Helios would not exist. These pages are here because buyers deserve the numbers, not because we want a fight.
The short answer
- N-able publishes no prices for N-central or N-sight. Both are quote-only (checked 28 September 2026).
- Reported ranges: N-central about $1.50 to $3.50 per device per month, N-sight about $1.00 to $2.50. N-central commonly needs around 100 devices.
- Renewal prices can rise up to 5% plus US inflation, plus the value of features added during the term, under N-able's own agreement.
- Your device commitment ratchets up: at renewal it becomes your old commitment plus 80% of any usage above it.
- Fixed terms renew for a full year unless you cancel through N-able's portal at least 30 days before the end date.
- Cancelling inside the first 12 months adds one month of fees at full price.
What N-central and N-sight cost

The renewal terms, from N-able's own agreement
N-able's Software Services Agreement is public, and three clauses in it matter more than any quote.
- The price can rise every renewal. Renewal pricing is the charged price on the invoice issued 90 days before renewal, "plus an increase up to: a) five percent (5%) plus any increase in the Consumer Price Index", and b) "the incremental value of additional features and functionality that have been added", in N-able's sole discretion.
- The commitment only grows. Your renewal includes "a new Quantity Commitment equal to Your previous Quantity Commitment" plus "eighty (80) percent of Your Usage in excess" of it. Changes to services "cannot reduce your fees".
- Fixed terms renew for a year. Unless you cancel through N-able's portal at least 30 days before the Subscription End Date, the agreement "will automatically renew for one (1) year and is subject to a price increase".
Month-to-month customers renew monthly, and for new customers any price increase comes after the twelfth continuous month.
Cancelling
N-able's own help centre says technical support cannot cancel. You go through your Partner Success Manager or a Success Center case, in writing. The 30 days' notice "starts first day of the following month from date of notification", so notice given on 2 March runs from 1 April. Devices must be off the dashboard a day before the cancellation date to avoid billing issues, and cancelling inside the first 12 months adds "one (1) month of fees at the full charge price".
What we could not verify
- Any N-able price from N-able itself. Every per-device figure above is third-party.
- Whether the Capterra $99 figure is a per-month minimum or a starting bundle. Capterra does not say.
- How often N-able applies the full 5% plus inflation at renewal. The agreement allows it; we have no data on how often it is used.
Why we built Helios
We ran an MSP on the platforms on these pages. The price moved at every renewal, and the features we needed kept turning up one tier higher. So we built our own.
Helios has one published price list: a £4/device Launch tier for 5 to 25 devices, then flat per-MSP plans at £99, £199 and £399 a month by fleet size (50 / 250 / unlimited). Every feature is on every plan, with nothing held back for a higher tier. Your price is locked for as long as you stay subscribed, and it is in our terms. Pay monthly and cancel any time, or yearly for 20% off. The calculator on the pricing page does the comparison for your exact fleet.
The parts that rarely make a feature grid
Comparisons and price lists tend to stop at monitoring, patching and tickets. Helios has kept shipping, every feature lands on every plan, and this is the part that usually gets left out:
- Client billing that closes the loop. Recurring contracts (flat, per-device or per-seat), an included-hours retainer that nets against logged time, and the finished invoice pushed into Xero or QuickBooks or exported as CSV.
- The kit that will never take an agent. Nominate a machine already running the agent as a site relay and act on the switches, firewalls, NAS boxes and printers around it over SSH. A target only appears if that relay is what discovered it, every command waits for a human, and the password is fetched at the moment it runs and written to the audit trail.
- Network discovery that names things. Agents map each client's network and identify what they find by vendor and type, so new hardware on a client site is flagged the day it appears.
- Replacement dates without a spreadsheet. Machines report their own age from the BIOS date, so Helios can tell you what is due for replacement against a service-life policy you set, per client.
- Reporting built for the review, not the dashboard. A custom report builder, SLA reporting, Microsoft 365 licence-cost reporting, and a day-one baseline per client that stores the numbers, so a quarterly review can prove what actually moved.
- Everything is addressable. A published REST API, a credential vault with an audit trail, custom fields on clients and devices, and standing rules that limit what Helio may do on its own: block an action or require a human to approve it, scoped to one client, a device group, a device type or a single machine, and to a class of action or one named fix.
Common questions
How much does N-able N-central cost?
N-able does not publish a price. Third-party estimates put N-central at roughly $1.50 to $3.50 per device per month, with an effective minimum of around 100 devices. Security, backup and EDR are priced on top.
How much does N-sight RMM cost?
There is no published price. Estimates run around $1.00 to $2.50 per device per month, and Capterra lists a starting price of $99 a month from vendor-supplied data.
Does N-able raise prices at renewal?
Its Software Services Agreement allows a renewal price up to 5% plus the US Consumer Price Index rise for the prior year, plus the value of features added during the term, at N-able's discretion.
How do I cancel N-able?
Through your Partner Success Manager or a Success Center case, in writing, with 30 days' notice that starts on the first day of the following month. Cancelling inside the first 12 months adds one month of fees as an early termination fee.
Can my N-able device commitment go down at renewal?
Not by default. The agreement sets the new commitment at your previous commitment plus 80% of any usage above it, and changes to services cannot reduce your fees.
How does N-able compare with Helios on price?
Helios publishes every price, bills monthly and can be cancelled any time. See the comparison page for the feature-by-feature view.
